An adult and two scientist adults are looking at a TV screen, and the not-scientist adult says "see, they like it, one kid seems to LOVE the speedo man! What more do they want?"
An adult starts talking to the kids saying something about how kids want Itchy and Scratchy to deal with "real life" problems, like "the kind you face every day" all the kids start to wave their hands and say that yes, they want that. Then the adult says "but you want to see them deal with far out problems like robots and monsters" and all the kids start to do the same thing, because yes, they want that too.
Adult says "so you want a realistic, down to earth show that's completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots"
The kids are a little more cautious, but they are interested.
Milhouse (? I don't watch the Simpsons) says "Also you should win things by watching!"
Different adult turns on the light behind the two-way mirror and says "you kids don't know what you want! That's why you're kids and you're stupid, just tell me what's wrong with the freaking show!"
Someone starts crying, and Lisa says that there's nothing wrong with Itchy and Scratchy at all, the show is still funny, but because it's been going on for so long, the characters don't have the same relevance anymore.
