I don't remember the movie clearly but al Ghul was trying to kill a bunch of people wasn't he?

Also, Walt only let Jane die because he wanted to be able to control Jesse without anyone getting in his way.

These are two weird events to compare.

I can see merit in the argument, though. Just because Ra's al Ghul was a murderous terrorist doesn't mean it was up to Batman to decide his fate for him. By tying him to a train that he knew was going to crash, Batman didn't physically kill Ra's al Ghul, but it wasn't like he had much of a chance at surviving and Batman knew that.

I am all for Batman killing him. He should kill more people. It would save a lot of lives.

AYRT

LOL! That's true if you're for superheroes killing all in the name of peace and justice.
But I know there are some people who say that the whole "Batman doesn't kill" thing is something about Batman that they like. He doesn't kill villains but the fact that he takes justice into his own hands can be dangerous. That has actually become a huge thing in superhero stories now that I think about it. Like, how people got super angry that Superman killed Zod.

A murderous terrorist who was only able to cause the damage he did because Batman saved his life the first time, which also qualified as deciding his fate for him.

No he was actually concerned about Jesse spiraling down into drug addiction under her (in addition to the blackmail she was forcing on him). Watch the scene where he talks to her dad at the bar.

(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
Didn't his spiral start when his friend got murdered? And didn't his friend get murdered because Walt was pressuring Jesse to expand into rival territory?

(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 11:14 am (UTC)(link)
no, he was worried about himself, even bryan has said as much.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-28 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
This is cracking me up because it's just such a random comparison. I don't know if you're the breaking bad troll that we have every once in a while but I like this one

(Anonymous) 2015-02-28 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
quit fapping to Walt already.

Never.

Text: I don't see how Walt not saving Jane is any more heinous than Batman not saving Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins.

Can someone relate to me how "druggie girlfriend choking on her own vomit" = "terrorist on a bomb train?" Other than them both being standard fair for 90's MTV music videos.

Wowwwwww, those are vastly different scenarios. Jeez, lol.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-28 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
well why do you think the 90s rocked so much? they united everyone!

(Anonymous) 2015-02-28 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
'druggie'

(Anonymous) 2015-02-28 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
da

?

It's not an uncommon slang term for an addict. Or are you just more fond of "junkie"?

(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
Her actions were going to end up destroying Jesse so just on a smaller scale.

(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
Didn't she get back onto drugs because of Jesse in the first place?

(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
No she got him hooked on it.

lol are you a walt worshiper or are you really that deluded? they were terrible influences on each other but let's not pretend walt let her die for any other reasons than self preservation.

(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 04:58 pm (UTC)(link)
If you even bothered to watch the episode where Walt meets her dad he was clearly worried about Jesse.
