I need ideas.

Lentil soup with an avocado salad on the side. It sounds like hippy food, but lentils and avocados are so good for the skin.

As in what scenario? At home or packed?

I have to say I, for one (almost) never eat packed meals. I usually choose Subway stuff. They do make delicious sandwiches :D

Well, there are usually scenarios where I need/chose a packed lunch, so PB sandwiches with crisps is a good idea.
And seconded with subway :D

I'm not allowed to eat a terribly wide range of foods, so I mostly cook myself rice with frozen vegetables&corn and throw in some shrimps or fish fingers. Alternatively, I make an omelette with thinly sliced potatoes and/or some sort of meat.

Chicken soup-flavoured cracker mush (unsalted crackers are best, too much salt ruins it and it's already loaded with sodium) or my World Famous™ grilled cheese sandwiches.

A sandwich with cheese or chocolate sprinkles. But I am Dutch we don't do hot lunch.

I came back from Europe with a terrible hagelslag addiction. I miss stroopwafel, too.

If I'm at home, vegetable wrap/sandwich with cheese. Anything I have in my fridge including cucumber, mushroom, sport peppers, carrot, green bell peppers, lettuce, spinach, pickles, hummus, cheese...

Otherwise, whatever I can manage to take in the morning. Leftovers, nutri-grain bar, an apple. Sometimes I'll buy a coffee if I'm really sleep-deprived.

If I can, I have warm food at noon (and a smaller meal for dinner) nowadays.

I like making a wrap with cream cheese, turkey, greens, vegetables and walnuts. For a hot lunch, I'll add veggies, extra beans and chunky salsa to a frozen rice and beans dinner.

Salad.

I am a terrible person and tend to eat take out every Mon-Fri.

A lot of it is chicken teriyaki, pad see ew, turkey/apple/bacon/brie sandwiches, burritos, pasta pesto... you have a lot of options when you work downtown...

Depends on whatever's available and if I'm eating lunch by myself or with my family. If it's by myself then just a can of tuna and crackers are fine. Also anything that's about to go bad because apparently I have no sense of self-preservation.

If it's lunch with the family then we go fancy and have either mutabal o humus, ravioli with cheese cream soup, grilled beef or chicken, etc, etc. And I noticed there's some rice and lentils in the pantry, so I'm guessing we'll be eating that some time soon.

Usually either leftovers or a veggie salad.

Uh...kind of whatever. If I'm packing a lunch it tends to be something like a sandwich, pringles (bad for me, I know), and graham crackers. Or tuna, crackers, a fiber one brownie/bar or some kind of granola bar/protein bar, etc.

Dinner these days is usually just soup and crackers (or a sandwich), because I get cold easily and want something filling and warm.

I do love salmon though, and cod fillets. Usually end up making it with some kind of pasta or rice.

Salad. salads are awesome and you can make them with anything you like.

Sandwiches (though I'm that anal person that packs the meat/cheese/lettuce/mayo etc in separate containers and assembles upon eating because nothing is worse than a soggy sandwich).

Leftovers: stew, etc.

Tamagoyaki, rice, pre-made bento foods like chicken patties, burger patties, meat etc.

Sometimes just yogurt, cheese, veggies and a drink if I'm planning a 'big' dinner.

I'm getting a field mushroom burger in a few minutes.

I probably won't finish it because it's huge, but I feel compelled to try.

This time of year I try to get something warm, like soup. But if I can't manage that I'll have a sandwich typically.

You want quick lazy ones, right?

-Leftovers, probably fried with an egg if it's my first meal of the day. Usually rice w/ vegetables, ground/chopped meat w/ rice, stir fry veggies w/ rice, and just all the rice w/ rice. Or soup because you can throw an egg in it.

-A grilled nutella sandwich because I'm 12. Maybe a grilled cheese & jam because I'm a genius 12-year old.

-salad by chopping up whatever is in the fridge with lemon, salt, and/or pepper. Cucumbers, cabbage, tomato, and onion are usually always in there, and so is mint and other herbs. Grill some meat or use leftover meat, and there's my protein. Better yet, throw an egg in it too.

-microwave potato. With an egg.

I must say that I'm impressed: on average, f!s eats relatively well. :0

At home? Some kinda sandwitch.

For work? I usually make some kind of "salad". i.e. I'll throw lettuce, tomatos, capsicum, cucumber, chorizo and cheese into a container and call it done. Then a banana or something on the side.
