OK, as a petite pear shaped girl, I'm really confused on what to do about pants.

At this point I basically live in skirts and dark bootcut pants.

I've given up on jeans. Skinny jeans are awful. Cropped pants are even more awful. Bermuda shorts make me look like my mother. I feel so uncomfortable in mini shorts.

And then I read some articles that say apparently pears can get away with boyfriend jeans and harem pants. Whaaaat???? I thought these would make me look stumpy.

What's the truth?

The truth is - those online guides are shite. I've never read one that works for me either, anon, and I'm tall and skinny.

The best advice I can give is trying on lots of styles, even the ones that you think won't suit you. Sometimes you can surprise yourself.

The only way you can know the truth is to try things on and see for yourself.

But as someone who's also pear-shaped and petite, I know that I tend towards bottoms that are very fitted and tight, and I think most people with my build look nice in tight clothes too.
