Not exactly elegant, but if you want sandals perhaps it's worth looking for hiking sandals? Some of those have quite wide soles, and the men's are usually also a bit wider, so that might accommodate the width of your foot, and they're made so all the upper straps are completely adjustable (either with velcro or other types of adjusting straps). Meaning, you should be able to fit them to your foot regardless of the shape of it.
The more fancy types also have arch support.
Again, not really elegance, but I adore hiking sandals. They're the only type of shoe that *never* gave me blisters.
Sadly I can't really rec a company because the only name I remember is Source, which is Israeli and idk if you can get those in your parts, but there are plenty of good companies.
