I like Marten/Claire fine, but I did find this strip kind of awkward looking. people have been ragging hardcore on QC for way longer than Marten/Claire became a thing though (some people even stopped ragging on it when the pairing became canon because they liked it so much. but then it evened out because other people started making fun of it because of the pairing)

The majority of the complaints I have is that the comic isn't moving forward. It's just the same plot over and over, Trap talks to boyfriend about how could he possibly be cool with her, Boyfriend reassures her, she calls him handsome/sexy/nice thing and they repeat this over and over and over.

Text: I don't read Questionable Content, so I have no background for why people are raging over this strip. But digging through the things they've been saying, I get the feeling the only reason these people, most of whom don't read the comic either, even care is that they hate transsexuals. (Or "me with tits," as they keep saying.) If it's really about the terrible facial expressions, like they keep saying it is, then I can pick out ten webcomics that are much, MUCH worse.

Not butthurt. Just don't like MTF transgendered. From personal experience they are some of the worse people I have ever met. They bring their stupid male attitude with their loud voices and male chest pounding opinions into female spaces. They think because they have worn a dress once or twice their experiences are more valid then anyone who has spent her life dealing with being a woman. It happens time and time again. And don't get me started on the whole cotton ceiling bit.
