Porn is the one thing I can actually write well. Mostly I just try to go with what I find hot and what fits the fandom. Like, when I write Middle Earth porn I don't use modern slang, when I write more romantic porn I choose less harsh words, and when I write hot and heavy stuff I go for the more blunt terms.

I tend to personally be more graphic with slash than het or femslash just because I find most of the terms for female genitals annoying so I tend to use mostly "folds" or talk around it.

And I try to fit it with the characters and show at least hints of characterization. Like, the stuff I've written recently I've written from the POV of a character who is having sex with another character who is seducing him and is actually evil. So I put in slight hints of that.

Also, I tend to write from the POV of one of the characters just because I find it easier.

What are some words you generally use? I'm afraid I'll be too clinical or vulgar or just full on "are you writing about nature or a person's body?"(alas, I know no middle ground)

This of course, if I ever have the gall publish anything of that nature...

Personally I tend to really like either cock or length for men. I don't really have any terms for women that I super like because I loath pussy, so I'll use cunt if it is appropriate and otherwise talk around it or use folds. I don't tend to use any of the other words for breasts because they always feel awkward or humorous to me.
