I can write everything up to the actual sex. I'm not quite sure how on Earth I managed it, since I haven't "dated" since kindergarten, but I've apparently developed a knack for writing lovers having fun and playing around together. Then I get to the sex, and I start begging my beta readers for advice.

Emotions are 80% of being able to write a convincing and effective sex scene, I think. I mean, you can write creative positions and descriptions of body parts and whatnot all you like, but if you don't get motivation and emotion in there it's going to seem bland. I'm not really surprised you've got a knack for the setup, since you seem pretty in touch with emotion. :)
