This is probably weird of me (and I know I'm in the minority), but I tend to be careful about spoilers even for old and "classic" media. Mainly because there are people out there who have not consumed it. People who are too young, still. People from other countries. People who just haven't had a chance to get around to it.

That said, if people go into a space meant for actively discussing a particular work or body of works, they have only themselves to blame if they get spoiled.
