How... How would you confuse Erwin/Levi with Steve/Tony unless the art was REALLY terrible/so stylized that everyone looks the same? I mean, Levi looks NOTHING like Steve OR Tony. He's like... well, to be honest--inserting a J-Pop reference here--he looks like an animated Nishikido Ryo from Kanjani8. Short, cranky, and cute. I wouldn't consider Steve OR Tony short or 'cute'.

I've seen the mistake happen the most with this piece (warning, nsfw):

I feel like some people just think "big blond guy and smaller brunette guy with a goatee," and in this one they can't see the goatee, and obviously are ignoring literally everything else that points to a different fandom.

But I'm still not sure how people could confuse that with SteveTony. For one, the clothing Erwin's wearing, and for two, I always thought Steve and Tony were pretty comparative height/sizewise, and Levi's very obviously smaller than Erwin.

I'm amused at people looking at that and their first thought being SteveTony and not 'hmmm two guys from a fandom I don't know', or 'Oh ErwinLevi!'.

In the comics, maybe. Chris Evens is around 6', and RDJ is listed as 5'8.5" on imdb (which sounds right if you're measuring him in his elevator shoes...). I don't know if it's fair to compare the physiques of a supersoldier in his early 30s and an engineer/businessman pushing 50.
