Eh, I've found the Fallout fandom on tumblr is relatively sane [oddly enough], though it does tend to focus on the half you don't seem to enjoy.

But...yeah, I kind of agree with you because of the other parts of the fandom I've seen - particularly since, because I enjoy the last two games most [I'm just not huge on top down games/turn based combat, though I do still enjoy the older ones otherwise] it can get...particularly nasty.

Honestly the tumblr fandom is pretty small and I don't really think of them when I talk about the fandom. I think of the old-school cRPG fans, the really scary, creepy neckbeard dudes.
