I agree, which is why I worry when my dad's at a restaurant (I don't remember him doing it at a fast food place) or on the phone with customer service. He doesn't pull status, but still :(

One of the best things about being an adult: don't have to spend time with family members when they're being assholes.
My dad has actually said "don't you know who I am?" *cringe*
