Re: Stories You Want To Tell But Won't
I have an outline for a play that I'd like to write some day. It involves two time periods- WWI-ish and roughly-modern-day (I can't have a character who was a child in the first section appear as an old lady in the second part unless it's like 1995)- and I know almost everything that happened in the WWI story. But things get kind of vague when I try and figure out what should happen to their modern descendents.
And on a silly note, yes, I wish I could finish the crazy Victorian Hogwarts thing I came up with years and years ago. I have a detailed outline for one of the stories, but mostly just notes and doodles for the other ones. I'm kind of always coming up with cool ideas/concepts and a bunch of unique characters and then never doing the focused task of articulating this stuff into one story.

(Anonymous) 2015-03-07 05:10 pm (UTC)(link)Late, but thank god it's not just me doing this. The best I can do are snippets of scenes that can't stand on their own so I can't even post them as drabbles.
