Definitely Aoi Hana. I got into it while reading Hourou Musuko (same author), and it has a very steady and mature feel imo. Plus the anime was awesome, and my little sister got super invested and defensive of glasses girl (she was rolling her eyes when I told her to watch a yuri with me years ago. Jokes on her! She loved it!).

Also, Citrus is ridiculous but fun to read. It's about suddenly step sisters, so heads up on that.
