Well you can read most books in a day if you try. You don't have to wait ages for little story, which usually amounts to a few seconds of entertainment so the buildup from the wait tends to make for disappointment. I know I have trouble reading a lot of text on screens, and it took a while to become aware of it, so that may also be related.

People just like different mediums, nothing to feel bad about.

I'm a fairly quick reader and I can read a book a day as long as I have no other responsibilities and the book's relatively light fiction, yes. But that's not very feasible for people who 1) have jobs, school, families and household chores or 2) don't read relatively short novels.
