(Anonymous) 2015-03-04 11:32 am (UTC)(link)I think as long as you manage to keep a solemn face until everybody gets to the "tell funny stories about the deceased" part you'll be fine. Just offer your support to those who were closer to them and keep in the background. You're not required to cry.
And most importantly: Turn your cellphone off for the service. Because everybody WILL hate you if it rings (looking at you, something something twice removed, at my uncle's funeral)
