Honestly, I like Ichabbie, but the way some of the shippers behaved was atrocious. I'd be with you if it didn't mean throwing the nice Ichabbie shippers and the rest of the fans of the show under the bus as well.

Heh...my solution would be to do a Katrina/Ichabod/Abbie OT3 that way the show could go on but it would piss off the crazies.

The second season was a mess, but now is so obvious the way they'll "fix" everything in the third is just give shippers what they want and that makes me think it'll be worse than the second.
The wank over a cancellation would be far more fun than a worse season imo.

Considering the shitty stuff they tweeted to Kat's actress for simply liking her character? Yeah, yeah they are. They're little the shitty CaptainSwan shippers who harassed Neil's actor on twitter, saying he was ugly and should die, all because he got in the way of the shitty Captain Jack ripoff.

Sleepy Hollow is tanking anyway, so it won't matter in the long run regardless.

Man, this show went off the rails. I keep meaning to watch the rest of season 2, but i think I'll wait and see if it gets renewed first. I didn't ship anyone, although I do wish the Indiana Jones-ripoff loveable rogue guy would get eaten by hellspawn because he seemed like blatant shipbait.

It might just happen! They had Hawley go off to India or somewhere to find his ex-lady mentor. But I liked him. I always had something for Jenny and Irving , but since he's trying to salvage his marriage, I think she and Hawley look fine.

And now I await the return of the angel, because I want him and Abbie together. The self-righteous furor, the jealous, upset, and betrayed Ichabod, oh yes, bring him back!

Well I for one hope the show is renewed because the second half of the season was pretty damn good, and everything feels back on track. (I don't mean that in a shipping sense, nor do I think that Ichabod/Abbie is going to be canon, especially not soon. Ichabod has a lot to work through right now.)

Are there annoying Ichabbie fans? Probably. Don't see why that should ruin things for all the other fans.

The second half was way better than the first. I still have to watch the last two episodes but I cheered when Henry got his one heroic moment.

Yes. I'd far prefer Ichabod and Abbie don't get together romantically anyway (I really like their friend-chemistry), but the show didn't seem to have the slightest idea what to do with Katrina when she was out of Purgatory and spent weeks spinning its wheels.

I want it to come back but only if I can find out what happened to Abraham and Franklinstein. Jesus, there's a headless man and a creature made out of body parts roaming about a town. Not even a huge city but a town. And no one says anything? What does Abraham do with all of his time? It's not like he pop down to the pub for a pint.

Uh. It's not like Ichabbie shippers are the only ones who wanted her gone. That was a widespread sentiment among shippers and non shippers alike. And it wouldn't have made any difference anyway if the ratings hadn't tanked.

I've never seen it with my own eyes. People complain about it here but even when I'm actively looking for it online, I can't find tell of it.

I loved the first season and hated the second, but I kind of want it gone just to discourage other writers from carrying out the same kind of blatant, over-the-top pandering to the fanbase their writers did. I get that they want the show renewed so that they have jobs, but watching them twist themselves and the story into knots over it was just painful.

I mean, as bad as Katrina was, as bad as the friggin' angel was, the palatable desperation in the last few eps was worse. I don't really care at this point because I only hung around for John Noble and now that he's gone, it's none of mine if it stays or goes, but seriously, writers, have some self-respect. I was honestly embarrassed on your behalf.

There's a fine line between pleasing viewers and turning a show into a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure series with the most vocal viewers dictating the plot and Sleepy Hollow blew right over it.
