Penises seem a lot less complicated to me. Vaginas are so confusing even grown women get the details wrong.

I don't understand this attitude. What's so confusing about vaginas? Or vulvas, since I get the impression that's what you mean. The vagina is just a hole, no more confusing than the urethra.

Maybe it's simply that people don't seem to care about the different parts of the penis. Every once in a while, someone mentions the "glans," but generally they just talk about the penis as a whole. With the vagina, a whole bunch of anatomical terms get thrown about.

That's true. There's more to a penis than you would think from the way people talk. And honestly I don't think there's as much to a vulva as people make it sound like. There's the inner and outer labia, the clit, the vagina itself, and . . . ? If you're not getting into the internal parts, there's not much to it. And yet people go on and on about how complicated it is.

i think thats mostly because (cis) women are generally not raised with the same openness about their sexualities and bodies that people with penises are. vaginas themselves are not confusing at all, very simple to understand actually, it's just that most people (those with vaginas included) never really get the proper education/exposure.
