You might get used to it, you might not. It's good that you are giving a try but you are also possibly looking at a few years until he looks like a legit man, or in as little as two years.

He's doing it for himself, not you. It isn't about you at all. Again, you don't have to be with him. If this isn't working out, and you do love him you will break up.
