I never watched this show but this is how I feel about every show ending. I'm never disappointed by it. I don't trust shows to go on for more than 4 seasons or so and stay good and I'd rather have too little that I love watching over and over than too much that's mediocre.

I agree OP, I actually think they even could have ended a season before, the last season had some good episodes but it was kind of pointless to have all that time jumping when the core of the story was their friendships.

But either way I'm glad it ended before it got to the point where people were hate-watching something they used to love. It ended at a time where we can all still be fond of the show.

Agreed! I think the last season was sort of like an extended epilogue. I loved every bit of it as a grand wrap up, and I'm glad the show didn't run a minute longer.

Yeah, any show that goes over 7 seasons is overkill. Except for The Simpsons, that is.

(Anonymous) 2015-03-11 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
that's wrong though

simpsons has been dead a long while

DA, true but I agree with anon before that it was good past 7 seasons (seasons 8 and 9 were some of the best.)

I agree. I loved it, and I'm a little sad that there'll be no new eps, but I'm glad they ended it now and allowed it to go with dignity.

I agree. I mean, honestly, it was sizzling on and off a bit starting season four - it'd pick back up every season and be awesome, but still. I can't even watch most of season five and season six. So... I love the show, but it's been losing its touch for a while.

I like the idea of TV shows going into it with a set number of seasons, that way the stories get wrapped up, most the questions answered and the actors can MOVE ON.

Just, a thing.

Text: I’m glad it’s over.

It was a great show, but it was time. They weren’t the Parks department any more. Better to end strong instead of fizzling.

I'm with you. I love the show, but I'm glad it got a real ending rather than just fizzling out and becoming completely terrible.
