I also gave up on it after season 1, for the same reason :(. That and it wasn't only behind, but the aired it in like two parts despite it being one season.

I really liked it, too.

I've given up on TV since and only watch what the bf can download or what's on his Netflix.

I'm glad I only watched the pilot then, since that kind of unnecessary dragging-out-a-plot-line thing is total bullshit.

It's also why I quit watching Hostages; you can't really stretch out an inherently unstable situation like that into a whole season.

It's basically "Is Liz's Reddington's daughter, yes or no?": The Show. With a side serving of "Let's see how Liz and Co. screw up at their jobs this episode!"

That's why I watch it. There's so many shows about so super-efficient and full of genius members teams, that seeing this "special" team failing so much is fun.

And in fact I'm really disappointed that Ressler hasn't been screwing it up in the second season as much as in the first one.
