Do you know of any hidden gems on personal LJ/DW or small kink memes or deserted fandom archives, etc.?

Rec me some hard-to-find fics.

What fandom? I love archives and personal/LJ/DW journals.

When I got started in fandom (read: reading fics, and ater writing) I thought the better quality stuff was on archives/lj, as ff.net was a sewer, and the amounts of crap to wade through to find a gem...heh

I'll try anything. I just want to find good writers and good fic who might not be on the main archives.

(although if you really want to narrow it down, I do prefer slash and more western media over anime -- but I seriously will give other stuff a try)

Caudebec, by Quarterdeck. Hornblower bookverse fix-it for what happened to William Bush. 30k, gen.

Many fics in the Henry V/Montjoy fandom (1989 movieverse) are only available here: http://indearalliance.blogspot.com.au/p/fiction.html Look for stories by theficklepickle, heloise1415 and amergina. They start about 1/3 of the way down the page. There's also a long WIP by nwindchaser. Some of those fics are up there with the very best there is.
