Have any female characters won a fight on their own afetr the timeskip? Protagonists and villians alike?

You know, I don't think they have. I'm don't think Nami got a one-on-one battle during Fishman Island, did she? Robin didn't, I'm sure of that.

The idea of Rebecca winning fights without using violence isn't bad or anything, as you said, it could have been good and inspiring. I actually really like the idea from the anon below that Rebecca could have used her usual finishing move by tripping Diamente over the edge of the cliff. That would have been an incredible way for her to win, given her history. Instead Kyros comes in to save the day. :/

I'm still wondering why Senor got a flashback, tbh. Is Lucy Anne going to be important later on? Did any other villain underling get a flashback so far?
