My OC and a canon character.

As long as you tag it as a Mary Sue, hell, keep on keeping on, anon. Fic is for fun. (I feel like we should have that on a banner or something).

NAYRT - It's not even necessarily a Mary Sue. OCs can be with canon characters and not be Sues.

AYRT Yeah, sorry, I misread OPs comment as 'OC of me' and interpreted it as a Mary Sue. In any case, it's all good. B)

I misread it exactly that way too, anon. Not sure why my mind filled in like that.

Because it's an OC? If so, no worries. Seriously, OCs are (imho) fine being with canon characters. There's no more issues with OCs/Canon Characters than they are pairings between canon characters.

*high five* I love my OC/Canon pairings, and I'm trying to not feel guilty about them but it's hard. Still though, they're the sort of pairings I want to see without having to bend over backwards about characterization so I'm a happy camper most of the time.

OC hate is so passé.

I too love OCs. I'll never really understand why people should be ashamed of OCs/Canon (and yes, I even occasionally ship a total self insert with a canon, no shame). They're fun, they can be done incredibly well, and sometimes, they can even provide a different view into the canon character.

Let's be honest, it's just enjoyable! So keep on with the OCs. Sometimes there's just no one you want to see the canon character with that is in the show/movie/book/etc.

I suposse I should feel ashamed about liking twincest since I have a twin sister but she enjoy it too :p
