Because it's an OC? If so, no worries. Seriously, OCs are (imho) fine being with canon characters. There's no more issues with OCs/Canon Characters than they are pairings between canon characters.

*high five* I love my OC/Canon pairings, and I'm trying to not feel guilty about them but it's hard. Still though, they're the sort of pairings I want to see without having to bend over backwards about characterization so I'm a happy camper most of the time.

None. I have given up feeling shame for ships. Some kinks, maybe. But most ships I might have felt shameful of I enjoy because of the "OMG so wrong" aspects.

I finally watched the latest Gravity Falls episode and uh. I think I ship Stanford and his brother. I've never felt so very creepy for liking a pairing (and I'm into several ships that involve people with their abusive/neglectful fathers). Woops.

Um, Littlefinger/anyone. Cat, Sansa, Varys, Oberyn, Tyrion... He's my terrible little bicycle. >____>

Well, there is one that I could be ashamed of...
but fuck it, if anyone wants to complain then they can take it up with me.

I sometimes feel ashamed of my wincest days.

John/Dean Winchester

(actually most of my parent/child ships -- though I only like them when they're both consenting adults)

I started out feeling ashamed for shipping Morgoth/Sauron and Celebrimbor/Sauron. Only I don't feel so ashamed anymore. I'm probably doing it wrong, but I've stopped caring.

I still feel ashamed for being intrigued by the idea of Luthien/Sauron. And also by the fact that Sauron has become my fandom bicycle.

I have problems.

This is kind of... not a fandom with other people that I know of...
But I read Shakespeare's Richard III recently and can't stop thinking about Richard/Anne. Their dynamic in the play, not actually the historical people.
But anyway yeah. I feel a lot of shame.

In other fandoms, I feel ashamed of the fact that I will read Lucius Malfoy paired with anyone if it is smut. The man is sex on legs and I feel ashamed of the fact that I enjoy fics pairing him with Harry or Hermione or Ginny or whoever.

Also, I feel ashamed of the fact that I still find Dany/Drogo hot and ship it even though it is rape no matter which version we are talking about.

Maybe not ashamed, but I would never say out loud that I ship Sansa/Sandor (I ship them in the books, their relationship and feelings for each other are completely different in the tv shows so I don't ship them there). Apparently you're a creeper if you ship them.

I feel a bit weird about shipping Adams/Jefferson from '1776'. Not for any patriotic reasons (I'm not even American), but because a) it's the closest thing to an RPF ship I've ever had, and b) John/Abigail are adorable. It's just that I was watching the movie and the scene on the stairs happened, and it's not fair for them to spring a scene on me where a short firebrand is physically hemmed in by a much taller gentleman and remains defiantly unmoved. Not fair.

Hans/Elsa from Frozen. I had a dream once in which he decided to try to get close to Elsa instead of Anna, and Elsa was so desperate for companionship she went with it, and they fell in love. But I also like them as a fucked-up mess (that slowly develops into genuine love)

Paulie/Lucci from One Piece. In a no-strings-attached-mostly-sex relationship while Lucci worked at the docks, but Paulie was slowly falling for him and honestly trusted him, then Lucci betrays them all :)

Mostly the incest ships. (Unless we're talking about Norma/Norman Bates, in which case IDC. That's such a massive part of their relationship in the first place that I can't feel too bad for enjoying it; they're fucked up and that's how they should be.)

Any RPF, particularly in bandom.

Snape/Lily. Well, Snape/Anyone, but especially this one. It's so wrong, but I'll eat that shit up. OoC fluffyness? Yes, please! Sad, unrequited longing? Yes, please! In-character, fucked up mess? Yes, please!

Steven / Pearl. Blame 4chan and it's horrible fanart!

But it's more of a creepy obsessive ship then imagining the /ss/ could be anything approaching healthy.
