(Anonymous) 2015-03-12 12:39 am (UTC)(link)I only stumbled across it recently, but I enjoyed the movie a lot. It's not usually my kind of story (I'm not much for either politics or the American War of Independence), but I liked it.
And that scene really does ... It kind of comes out of nowhere. Or my reaction to it definitely did. One moment it's all politics and friendship and revolution and singing, and then bam! Jefferson is pinning Adams in against the banister and I'm wondering what the hell just happened. So not fair ...
