When I play games I try to put the males in outfits that reveal some skin and females in practical armor. This is not a secret.

I seem to have finally figured out why.

I don't hate skimpy outfits off the bat, I hate how much emphasis is almost always on the breasts. Breasts that, again almost always look the same: perfect round watermelon halves sticked to a chest.

I don't need to see cleveage to know I'm playing a woman.

Also why does the same armor sets look completely different when the gender of the avatar is different?

(I'm an asexual dude, if that matters)

I hear you. All I can say is that, at least in some of the MMOs I've played in the past few years, it's a little better than it used to be in terms of certain gear looking the same on male and female characters. Some games even have variation in breast size, so that not all the females are 34D.
