Player 3: Damn it! How the hell do I keep landing on Kentucky Ave. with the hotel?!
Player 1: Cough up the cash, loser!
Player 2: If you give me Boardwalk, I'll give Player 1 the cash you owe.

(Anonymous) 2015-03-13 08:25 am (UTC)(link)For the longest time, I thought Monopoly wasn't a game that ended. You just played until you were bored. (Then I discovered a ruthless streak in my brother, who found a way to consistently kick my ass in under a half-hour. Seriously, don't play with him.)

(Anonymous) 2015-03-13 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)I'm half-convinced the only reason the game between me and my BIL actually ended (at 3 AM, landing on his property, long after my parents and sister lost) was because we had decided my dice roll would be the last. Otherwise I'm sure we'd still be playing.
