I guess I was the odd one out after all, everyone always talks about their "initiation" series and I never had one...I just read doujin of pairings I liked. I tried Gravitation but that got pretty rapey pretty quick (and I didn't really like any of the characters in the first place), and most of the others I just wasn't into the concept or the art style so I never bothered.

I have heard that FAKE is decent, though.

Fake has great characters (but as someone pointed out, one of the main couple can be handsy at times), and the author did a great job with the female characters.

I barely remember anything about Gravitation. Weren't they in a band or something? And one was a massive tool?

Someone getting handsy comes with the territory, I suppose, haha. That's good to hear, though. Maybe I'll check it out at some point.

I don't remember much myself, but I remember the doe-eyed "uke" was the one in the band, and the "seme" was...a writer, I think? And yes, a massive tool. One of those situations where you're kind of leaning away thinking "how could anyone be in love with someone like that?"
