My independent study is going super well. I hated my last internship so much that I really needed this to remind me why I want to do immigration work and why I wanted to be a lawyer in the first place.

I got a massage yesterday, which was amazing, and went to see Cinderella.

My roommate did the dishes this morning and vacuumed which means I don't have to do those things.

I finished my fest story two and half months early and 2 weeks before the first deadline. I always write up to the last minute so I'm doing cartwheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ran a 4 mile race in 39 minutes 7 seconds this morning! W00t! My pace is now below 10 min per mile. I just... need some common sense to slap into me and say I'm doing fine and stop worrying about things like food and all.

I got to go and spend time with my horse and my best friend this afternoon, after almost a month of being laid up with first the flu, then shingles. I didn't ride, but I did get to give Sharif a good grooming (shedding season has officially begun!) and lots of treats, play with Cupid the baby goat, caught up with my BFF and took lots of pictures. I over-extended myself big time and am sore as hell now, but it was so very, very worth it and exactly what I needed. Sharif's like a walking happy pill. ♥

Yes, or at least that's what I was told when I bought him at age 12. Given how many other things his former owners lied about, I don't know for sure. At any rate, it was too pretty to change.

I bought an autographed script from a television writer I'm fond of. I'm a little bummed that I can't really show it off (it's for an unproduced episode, so a nondisclosure agreement was involved), but still happy to have it.
