Metal music is decent, but that screaming thing the singers do is just so much noise.

"I Don't Wanna Die" is a terrible, terrible song, and I hate how it keeps showing up in fanvids.

On a related note, if you're just talking and not actually singing, your song probably sucks.

I hate Cookie Monster vocals so much. Like, you wanna pull that crap, I will stop the album, pull it out, and move on. It too often makes the song ugly when I was actually enjoying the guitar work. :(

I find myself feeling that way about emo and post punk subgenres. Like "this music is actually compelling! But I can't tell what you're saying and I'm worried for your health screaming that way!" #oldperson
