Unfortunately, a lot of people who no sense have been pretty vocal about his suspension.

Which is confusing because I'm not sure there's a single job in the UK where you wouldn't get at least suspended for striking a colleague. I feel like people have lost their sense of perspective over this entire thing.

Oh, there's no question they have, especially when he hasn't even been fired, just suspended. For him, all it means is more time to sit in his country house while still earning more money than the average Brit will ever see in their lifetime.

You clearly have a different tumblr than I do. Which shouldn't be surprising since it's so huge, but is occasionally surprising anyway.

No, it's my Facebook wall that has all the asshats cheering him on. Christ, what an asshole. I thought he was fired. I'd like to hope he goes to jail for assault, assuming what we've all heard is true. But somehow I doubt it.

Well, tbh, it's more the jc tag than my dash (I made the mistake of checking the tag the other day. Oi.). But most of the TG fans I have on my dash do support him. Blindly. They act like he's the victim in all this. In fact there's another petition going around, something to do with complaining to the BBC about their handling of the case or some such. I blocked it because it was stupid. Honestly, I am so glad I have xkit.

I have almost no TG fans on either of my facebooks, so they've been blessedly Clarkson free.

We'll be lucky to have him face any real fall out from this (apart from this suspension) since he's a major cash cow for the BBC. *sigh*
