boy, I don't know where everyone else hangs out online, because I see that shit all the time (geeks on facebook mostly) and it drives me batty. mostly because I hate beards as it is, so anyone behaving superior about their ugly beard...you do the math.

I really do hate beards. Because they're never nicely-trimmed or kept, they're always the scraggly mountain-man look, the 2010's version of dreadlocks. Unwashed, unkempt, graying at the ends like you've been dragging it in the mud and then looming over your campfire too long. UGH. Ugh ugh ugh. Whatever happened to goatees? I love goatees.

A goatee is a type of beard, though.

I feel like you just use "beard" to mean "any facial hair that I think looks bad" instead of using it to mean what it actually means.
