Text: Perrin Aybara’s name sounds like a burp to me. You know like that episode of QI where Stephen Fry’s talking about Edward Woodward’s name sounding like a fart in a bathtub? Yeah, a bit like that - just sounds like a really satisfying burp in my mind.

pros: makes burping more fun.

cons: I adored Perrin but now I just can’t take him seriously because… well, because his name sounds like a burp.

Also, Amarillo is a near-constant soundtrack while I’m reading these books thanks to the word Amyrlin. So that’s annoying.
