Manips are always terrible, whether it's for RPF or regular fic (the LOTR and Supernatural fandoms are some of the worst offenders although it seems like the popularity of manips has been waning over the years...in most fandoms, anyway)

Yeaaaaa, I think I've seen about two semi-decent manips in my life. Not sure I've ever seen RPF manips, though? (...Okay, that's a lie, in SPN fandom, but that's about it. I'm curious as to which other RPF fandom they're popular in.)

I've never been so disgusted with fandom as when I saw shippy manips with underage people :/ Some things are just not ok.

Ew, what? I'm glad I haven't seen any of those.

But yeah, I'm fine with RPF and I guess I'm okay with underage fic (not my kink even remotely, but I don't really care if other people are into it) but there is just something wrong with people who combine underage AND RPF. There is a damn line, people! I scrolled by a summary for a fic about Carl's actor from TWD in a non-con situation (it was obviously a fetishy fic rather than hurt/comfort although I think that's still crossing a line as well when it involves actual child actors) a few days ago, and I can't remember the last time I was so bothered by a fanfic.
