I have never seen my profession depicted on screen, because it's so obscure. I guess the closest thing to my work environment would be Slings & Arrows, where I'm somewhere between Anna (the put-upon administrator), Maria (the stage manager), and the couple different playwrights they had.

Anna is so wonderful. I recently rewatched it (again), and was seeing all the ways that Anna fills the role of Kent (and to a lesser extent, Horatio). She is the pure-heart, the rock of goodness and stability in a world of meanness and madness. Everyone depends on her, and they don't even realize it.

Yes! She is just so amazing. And she's funny and capable and compassionate....

*happy sigh*

I rewatch at least some episodes every six months or so. I just love it. (Wish i had my S&A icon over here.)
