I'm happily married. With an amazing social life. And a kick ass job. That pays for the life I lead outside of mommy and daddy's house. And I'm also biracial and grew up in a war zone, so I happen to know a little about the real world.

I'm totally with you, anon. Every time I see grown-ass people reblogging posts like "never do anything that makes you uncomfortable, ever!! it's okay to be overwhelmed about everything and choose to do nothing about it!! never leaving your parents' home and sponging off them financially for the rest of your life just makes sense in this economy and you deserve to be happy literally all the time and never face any hardship!! (◡‿◡✿)!!!" make me cringe so hard I practically pull a muscle. I'm someone with an anxiety disorder myself, and you know what? You don't get to use it as an excuse to do nothing in life and remain a perpetual child. Like goddamn, I can't imagine doing something that insanely selfish to my parents, or anyone else in my life.
