(Anonymous) 2015-03-21 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)But sometimes it's people giving a million reasons for their hate of a female character that they can't articulate but that just rubs them the wrong way.
Like me, I don't like Aang in Avatar The Last Airbender. I don't know WHY (because he's a nice kid and well written) but he just rubs me the wrong way.
You can't do that with a female character though, so some people make tons and tons of excuses.
It might be sexism. Or it might just be people trying to cover their asses.
