Katara from ATLA. One of the things that I like best about her is that while she's a very nurturing, gentle person who often takes a mothering ole towards her friends, she's also someone who has anger problems and even more hatred towards the fire nation than Sokka does (not that it's unfounded considering that her village was attacked by Fire nation troops and her mother was murdered in front of her) and she isn't always someone who forgives easily. I like that she was also pretty big on vigilante justice even though it put her at odds with Aang and sometimes Sokka. A lot of the time, "healer" characters like Katara seem very passive and one dimensional, but it was nice that she was layered.

Oh, yes. Katara and also Toph. Love them both so much.

She's kind of a mama wolverine, that Katara. Aside from Azula, she's probably the character in A:TLA you least want to mess with.
