I think, in most situations, it's better for everyone involved if you don't live with your parents. But there are all kinds of situations where it's necessary and I don't judge anyone for it, no matter what the reason; I just think most people will be happier not living with their parents, in the world as it presently exists.

Actually on the family member side of things I'm probably over generalizing from the experience of people I know. But I do think that there's something to be said for having space.
