I just marathoned The 100 over the past couple of weeks (both seasons) and I think Clarke Griffin is honestly one of the best female protagonists on television right now. She is both kind and ruthless, she is afraid to make hard choices but she makes them anyway because she knows she has to for the good of her people. She has flaws - she can be impulsive and rather reckless and she is often all or nothing - but they only serve to make her that much more interesting.

I didn't expect much from this show but she is actually one of the most fascinating characters I've come across in a long time.
