I see a number of people answering this saying they think it's okay in some situations, but they judge people for it in other situations.

So I'm wondering, how much do they consider it's okay to interrogate people about why they live where they live?

The person you're judging as a lazy slob who sits around the house all day might not want to tell you their medical history, especially if you sound like a judgmental wazzock.

I wish people could spend less time judging others for superficial things, and more time examining the prejudices behind some of our initial judgments.

+1 I always wonder about people who others judge as lazy because sometimes there are mental issues they are just not comfortable sharing with others.

I also know with my own mental issues one of the things I struggle with is judgement from others and even judgement from myself. Even if I'm sitting on the floor having panic attacks I think I'm being lazy because I'm not working.

I think if the situation doesn't effect you, you should generally stay out of people's business about what they do with their life.

If you have "medical issues" that only interfere with your going to school, holding a job, or taking care of household responsibilities, but never with anything fun that you want to do, like a fandom meetup or going to a con--yeah, people are going to judge, or at least wonder.
