Re: Female characters you love

Okay, I think most of the characters I love, I've seen mentioned, so here's one:

Cordelia Vorkosigan. Ship's captain in her own right, noblewoman by marriage, nearly single-handedly started the women's rights movement on a patriarchal planet in part by introducing uterine replicators so women did not have to spend most of their lives pregnant, AND saved the life of her son, stopped a revolution, and... the "shopping trip." Everyone who has read Barrayar will know exactly what I'm referencing. It's a huge spoiler, so I'm not saying.

AND as announced today she's getting her own book, post CryoBurn! (Which will mean nothing to people who haven't read the series, but will be a serious EEEEE for those who have.)
