I want to believe but unfortunately I've been burned before. Seems like every male/female friendship in a long running series eventually turns romantic at some point. Whether it's endgame or just because a male and female can't be friends without getting sexual at one point. I just want a good male/female friendship that never becomes romantic. One of the few I can think of is Harry and Hermione.

What I liked most about the show was the kick-ass pair of platonic opposite sex partners. I wish TV didn’t have to make every male/female partnership a romanace.

Not really related to that pairing because I've never seen the show, but something I'll never understand is why people think it's so terrible to NOT ship something for whatever reason.

I see some people say stuff like, "You just don't ship this because your misogynistic/racist." Since when did you have to ship something to prove a point?

I have a lot of favorite characters I have no ships for but some people assume that because I don't ship them with anyone that I must actually hate one or both of the characters of that ship. As if it's somehow degrading to not pair off every character into a couple or just to prefer platonic relationships.
