I wish I had done the math, and realized who/what you were, all the times we spoke to each other. Even when you were mean to me. Especially when you were mean to me.

I am glad I never inherited that mean streak you so obviously did. I pity your partner and your children, and all the people you surround yourself with now, if you are anything at all like [redacted].

I am still angry over the situation. I will probably always be angry over the situation. You probably find this hilarious, and want me to continue on being angry, just so you can gloat and laugh (just like [redacted] would). That's fine. I am mostly angry with myself, not you. Though I am angry that you and [2nd redacted] thought you could take advantage of a bad situation. The last laugh's on you, though, because there's nothing to be gained from your little power play, now that all is said and done.

I wish things could have been different. I don't know if you wish the same or not. I wish [redacted] could have been happy. Would it make you happy to know that [redacted] was never happy, and made me consistently unhappy as a result? I wish our situations had been reversed, and you had had the upper hand. Though you did, in the end, or thought you did, I imagine. I wish I had known you were the false equivalency I was compared to, all my life.

You have all the things I never managed to attain in life. I'm sure you're proud of that, and happy that I've made a miserable mess of my life (such as it is). I'm sure [redacted] was proud of that too. The truth is, I could have attained those things, too, if [redacted] hadn't held me back, and convinced me that I didn't really need any of those things.

The reason I was held back? I wasn't you. I'm sure you are deliriously, deliciously happy, over that right now.
