Sometimes I wonder what male actors/celebrities/internet personalities would think if they knew that I, a dude, have crushed on them or their characters. Same goes for authors if I happen to crush on a male character of theirs.

(I guess I want validation that this is okay and they would not be bothered (or at least feel any differently than towards female fans))

I know he's not on your list, but Stephen Amell has said that he's perfectly fine with male fans hitting on him (Chelsea Lately interview). Chelsea was trying to make the distinction between Stephen and a gay character he played, saying that he was straight and guys shouldn't hit on him. Stephen just smiled and said, "People can hit on me if they want to."

So...at least one hot male star doesn't give a damn.

A lot of actors say they're flattered by their male fans being attracted to them, although I don't specifically know about the ones in your secret.

I find these kind of actors much more attractive myself, although I'm not a gay male. It's the self confidence that kind of attitude indicates, plus the fact that you know, it means they're not insecure dicks who can't abide the thought of being a focus of lust for anyone they don't personally want to jump themselves.

So this secret in my opinion expresses a valid worry. Namely, are the actors I like dicks or not?

I dont really think it'd be a big deal? I'm an ace female and I don't really think of any of my same gender crushes any differently than crushes on dudes. Also actually less alarmed by women with crushes on me.

Most of them wouldn't care. Celebrity crushes are pretty common, so they're not likely to pay much attention to a fan having one unless that fan behaves incredibly inappropriately.

I don't know much about Orlando Bloom - just enough to think he wouldn't mind - but I think Mark and Wil would certainly not have issues.

(Now...Roddenberry...he strikes me as a guy who'd say he was OK with you crushing on his self-insert character, but be obviously a bit squirmy about it.)
