I bought Harry, A History - I liked it enough, but it was more about Melissa Anelli's website, so it didn't speak to me in that way because while I'd always relied on The-Leaky-Cauldron for fandom news, that was the extent of my fandom involvement. It spoke even less to people who were only really involved in LJ fandom, which she barely touched on at all. (I was okay with that, because my fandom experience was actually similar to hers. But I could see why LJ people who'd never even heard of half that stuff were confused/annoyed.)

Also, HAH talked a lot about WRock, which I have no interest in.

Henry (Harry?) Jenkins also wrote about the HP fandom in a book, but mostly stuck to the family-friendly stuff IIRC.

SA - ... my fandom involvement with that site, I mean, sorry.
