I got to see a friend today who I didn't know was even in town - one of my best friends; we had lunch at my apartment before she drove back to where she lives. Last week I dropped in on my old workplace and saw an old manager who is another good friend who I hadn't been able to contact because her number was wrong. Didn't know she'd be there so that was an awesome surprise. On Monday a friend (the guy I have a crush on, sort of? not really anymore but we're friends and we flirt sometimes which is fun and I kinda like it that way) came to find me and suggested we grab dinner on our breaks together. then I got to see him again after work because I ended up staying an hour (he usually leaves an hour after me) to help my team catch up. It really brightened my day.

Yay for unexpected/short-notice interactions with friends!

That is great. I live too far away to see any of my friends. But I love seeing them when I go back home.

My best friends both live out of town (and in opposite directions, yay) but I'm working on making more friends here. I didn't leave, actually, I'm living in the city I grew up in, but they left! XD
