(Anonymous) 2015-03-26 03:25 pm (UTC)(link)Now we have kids who have never known a world without widespread Internet. It's always been a part of their lives. So why wouldn't they share everything, because that's what everybody else does? I still get astonished looks when I say I don't have a Facebook (I don't). But I didn't get access to the Internet until I was in college, and that was the late '90's. As others have said, my awkward teenage fanfic will remain in notebooks, not displayed online, and I'm really grateful for that.
