I find people who harp about their introversion absolutely insufferable. Especially if they start even one sentence with "As an introvert..." or, God forbid, "As an INTJ..."

tbh I've formulated a general rule that if someone begins a statement with the words "Speaking as a...", probably around 80% of the time, whatever follows is going to be completely insufferable

Honestly, I don't care for the "as a" sentence starter in most instances. "As a mother, I feel [whatever]". As a painter, as a member of this club, as a practitioner of [whatever]. It's a credential flash, stating that your opinion should be taken more seriously, because of whatever you are.

There are times, particularly on the Internet, where the credential flash is almost a pre-emptive strike against people who will immediately demand to know your right to speak on an issue. But in most real-life conversations, I find the "as a [whatever]" sentence starter really annoying.

People who use Myers-Briggs to explain everything really are insufferable.

I agree. It was really helpful for me in figuring out some things about myself that I never understood, but it isn't the totally perfect and amazing thing people make it out to be and it isn't the only helpful personality test and it shouldn't be used to explain things it doesn't actually explain.

I keep getting different results every time I do a test so ... eh.

It doesn't work for everyone, and it is also possible to be in the middle on things. I just found it helpful for me personally in explaining some ways I'm the opposite of my family and things I'd never understood about myself.
